DLS VIDYA LEARNING LAB
Learn to read analog and digital clocks through play.
Start with o’clock, connect the clock hands to digital numbers, and grow into half past, quarter hours, and five-minute steps.
Analog + Digital
Two ways to show the same time.
How to Play
The short hand tells the hour. At 5 o’clock, it points to 5.
The long hand tells the minutes. At o’clock, it points to 12, and later it helps children count around by fives.
The clock hands, digital numbers, and spoken words all show the same time in three connected ways.
Play Lab
Set the Time
Drag either clock hand directly, or use the plus and minus controls below. In O’clock mode the minute hand stays on 12.
For Grown-ups
Little Time Lab gently connects the analog clock, digital time, and spoken time in every activity. Begin with whole hours, then add half past, quarter hours, and five-minute counting only after the short and long hands feel familiar.
Best for ages 4+ with support.O’Clock is the gentlest starting point for children who already recognize numbers.
